I'm pleased it just exists! I've been watching the digitally remastered episodes of BG on Sci-Fi Channel, and I was reminded again of how effectively Ms. Rush made the most of her all-too brief appearances as "Rigel." I didn't think I would find anything about Sarah on the Web, but its heartening to know so many others remembered her as well. All the news about a Galactica revival or sequel is new to me, but I hope Ms. Rush and the other original actors can reprise their roles in whatever project materializes.

I was 7 or 8 when "Galactica" first aired, but to be honest, I was paying more attention to the Cylons, special effects and outer space dogfights than to the actors and characters.
It was only when I started watching reruns in the years following Galactica's cancellation that I got better acquainted wth the show's "cast of thousands." I know that Maren Jensen's "Athena" was the female with the top billing; but I was more intrigued with Laurette Spang's "Casseopia," Anne Lockhart's "Sheba," and you as "Rigel," of course!
I didn't even discover your character's name until she was featured in a comic book version of Galactica that came out in '98, I believe. I was rather amused and impressed with all those memorable expressions you made in the two or three minutes you were featured on the Galactica bridge dispatching those Vipers! Surprise, Joy, Apprehension--you said much more with a few glances then some of the other actors did with their spoken lines! I kid you not! Those attention-getting braids didn't hurt, either!
I was disappointed that the show got axed before it could reach its full potential; likewise, I'm sorry that we didn't get to see Rigel become a completely developed character. But you certainly made the most of your role, and I'm pleased others appreciate what you did back in '78 as well.
Glad to know you're stll acting; I'll keep an eye out for you in TV land. Thank you!
